Author A to Z

Caroline Dunford has loved romance since her mother gave her first Georgette Heyer novel as a teenager. She writes contemporary romance, with humour and many twists. She is a firm believer that the course of true love never does run smoothly, but that you have to strive and work for what you want. Accordingly her heroines are generally feisty or in the process of becoming feisty.

She lives in a cottage by the sea in Scotland with her partner and two young sons. She writes novels and plays as well as tutoring new writers, who she finds it particularly exciting to work with. If she goes for more than five days without writing she becomes extremely grumpy.

It's a fact

Women prefer to do it in bed and men prefer to do it in a chair—read that is.
