Author A to Z

Gabrielle Mullarkey writes short stories for women’s magazines and her published novels include Hush Hush and A Tale of Two Sisters. She won the Short Story Radio Romance Award 2011.

She is also a freelance journalist, having started out in women’s magazines writing both feisty opinion pieces and snappy features on ‘celebrities who look like their pets’ (or very possibly, vice versa). She has also written numerous in-depth articles about emotional and relationship issues, and been a nifty nib for hire on everything from The Grocer to love it!

She holds an MSc in creative writing for therapeutic purposes, and is a member of both Lapidus – The Writing for Wellbeing Organisation, and NAWE, the National Association of Writers in Education. She hosts workshops in this area.
