Hazel has been an advertising copywriter for over 20 years.

In 2008 she won the ‘Woman & Home’ short story competition sponsored by Costa and the Yeovil short story prize and has been longlisted in the Fish Prize. She has also had competition wins in Writing News, The Writers’ Forum and the Global Short Story Forum and had stories accepted for publication in the Sunday Express magazine, The Weekly News and My Weekly.

Two of her stories have been included in anthologies – ‘The Book Lovers’ Appreciation Society’ published by Orion and ‘The Ways of Love’ published by Liz Bailey.

Hazel has a two book deal with Quercus Publishing for witty, sexy romantic novels and her first one - Who’s Afraid of Mr Wolfe – was published in April 201l.
