Author A to Z

I write romantic comedy and romantic suspense, and sometimes I mix the two. I’ve written short stories for UK magazines such as Take a Break and My Weekly, as well as articles for the Irish press. My first published novel was Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, which was shortlisted for Poolbeg’s Write a Bestseller competition. Before becoming a full-time writer, I worked as a civilian administrator for the police, which is why many of my characters are police officers.

Although I was born in Southampton I now live in Wales, surrounded by fields of sheep, with a beautiful view of Snowdon from my study window. I love loud music, big old houses and the kind of celebrity magazines that I know I’m not really supposed to read but somehow can't stop myself. I’m proud to have been a member of the RNA since 1999.
