Author A to Z

Margaret Mounsdon began writing category romances for Heartline Books. She also writes short stories for various women’s magazines and has had several novellas published by People’s Friend Pocket Novels and My Weekly Story Collection.

Her first book, Never Say Goodbye, was published in 2001 and written under the pen name Clare Tyler. It was also short-listed for the RNA New Writer’s Scheme Award.

Her varied career has included working abroad in Europe, a customer relations officer at Gatwick Airport and she finally ended up in a nursing home for the elderly, as a receptionist, not a resident. All these jobs have provided a fertile breeding ground for the light romances she loves to write.

It's a fact

Women are more likely than men to read in the bath, while men are more likely to read in the loo.
