Author A to Z

Nicola Cornick became fascinated by history when she was a child and spent hours poring over historical novels and watching costume drama. She studied history at London University and Ruskin College Oxford and wrote her Masters thesis on heroes.

Nicola writes Regency historicals for HQN Books in the US and MIRA Books in the UK. A double nominee for both the UK Romantic Novelists’ Association Romance Prize and the Romance Writers of America RITA award, she is also the current RNA Membership Secretary.

In her spare time she works as a historian for the National Trust in a seventeenth century hunting lodge, Ashdown House, which provides endless inspiration for her novels.
