Anne Holman

Sheila Anne Holman Finch uses her middle name as her penname.

She was born in Peterborough in 1934, and educated all over the place - including Wisconsin, USA.  After a career in Art Education until retirement, she began writing short historical novels for fun.  Eighteen of them have been published by DC Thomson, and every one has also appeared in large print.

She joined the RNA in 1987.  Now living in Devon with her husband, Roy, and dog Topper, she attends the RNA North Devon merry band of writers meetings.

Barbara Cartland is regarded as the world’s most prolific author with over 700 titles. She wrote 550 + of those after leaving the Romantic Novelists’ Association in 1965 – in protest against the word ‘Romantic' in its title.
