Olivia Ryan is the author of the ‘Tales From’ series – a series of contemporary relationship-based novels set against the emotional backdrop of the major events of a woman’s life.

She has written five previous novels under her real name of Sheila Norton, and also writes short stories for the women’s magazine market under that name.

Olivia lives near Chelmsford in Essex and began her serious writing career by winning two first prizes in the Writers’ News short story competitions during the 1990s, subsequently winning their Winner of Winners award. Her first novel was published in 2003.

Barbara Cartland is regarded as the world’s most prolific author with over 700 titles. She wrote 550 + of those after leaving the Romantic Novelists’ Association in 1965 – in protest against the word ‘Romantic' in its title.
