Shirley Wells is the author of contemporary mysteries including the Jill & Max books published by Constable & Robinson Ltd and the Dylan Scott series published by Carina Press.

In a former life, writing as Shirley Worrall, she penned several serials as well as hundreds of short stories for women’s magazines, both in the UK and abroad.

Shirley was born in the Cotswolds but, after a year in Cyprus and twelve years on the Orkney island of Hoy, has now settled in east Lancashire where she shares her home with her husband, two adoring dogs and two slave-driving cats. She’s been a member of the RNA since the early nineties.
