Best Love Story of the last 50 years - poll winner

A champagne breakfast was held in London’s New Cavendish Club yesterday, 16 September, to announce the winner of the Woman’s Weekly poll. RNA member Linda Gillard’s novel Star Gazing was declared the winner. She beat Barbara Taylor-Bradford’s classic book,  A Woman of Substance and Trisha Ashley’s Every Woman for Herself, which were both runners-up.  The poll was organised by Woman’s Weekly in conjunction with the Romantic Novelists’ Association.
